毕业生代表 刘天阳

尊敬的各位领导，各位老师、各位家长，亲爱的同学们：

大家上午好！

我是来自南洋书院电气210班的刘天阳，四年前我怀着为国家电力工业奉献一生的梦想，从中国东北老工业基地黑龙江，求学来到了工科实力雄厚的365滚球盘。

大一时，我有着丰富的校园生活，是众多社团的小干事；大二时，我不再任性，认真学好专业基础课。但对我影响最大的是发生大三下学期。学院组织东郊变电所参观实习，我偶然听到一位检修师傅抱怨：“天气这么热，每天都要巡检开关设备，没问题也会检修坏”。我当时就想：如果有一个可以实时监测开关设备状态的装置，就可避免浪费了，还可以让检修师傅舒适。回到学校，我查阅相关资料后发现，解体检修对设备寿命是一种损害。不仅如此，每次检修都要停电，在国民经济迅速发展的时代，停电所带来的损失不可估量。我和志趣相投的同学带着心中的疑惑咨询了电气学院的老师，老师提供给我在国家重点实验室的实验机会，凭着一股韧劲儿，开始了长达一年多的科研之路。我大年二十九回家，大年初三返校继续科研，那段时间不断实验，测试产品性能，结果不理想，再修改实验方案……不断地尝试，失败，再尝试。我先后向邱爱慈院士、陶文铨院士和程时杰院士请教，辗转上海、北京、武汉咨询多位专家，最终和同学们开发出了监测系统，获得“挑战杯”科技竞赛国家一等奖。

“一切科研问题，都源于实践，又回归于实践”，科学创新之路并非一蹴而就，光环背后有失败、有艰辛。这只是我大学生活的缩影，我始终将自己所学与国家的命运紧紧联系在一起，今年我有幸代表交大入围“中国大学生年度人物”。我的内心深深的知道在交大校园对科研感兴趣的同学还有很多，我只是他们中平凡的一个。

临别之际，百感交集。还想看一次樱花西道的风景，踏一次梧桐东道的阴凉；还想在胭脂坡上牵起喜欢女孩的手；还想在主楼里听一次高数老师的微积分；还想在西迁纪念馆里感受一遍交大老教授们的西迁精神；还想在钱学森图书馆几本书，伴随内心的宁静度过灯火通明的夜晚；无论怎样度过这四年，也许都会有遗憾。但是，有兴趣陪伴，有同学陪伴，经历思考，经历磨难，大学四年无怨无悔，值得珍藏永远。

“苟利国家生死以，岂因祸福避趋之”。我们交大人将怀揣爱国主义、集体主义、英雄主义和乐观主义情怀奔赴祖国的四面八方。勤于钻研、勤于思考、勇于担当、勇于创新、乐于奋斗、乐于奉献。有乐观主义情怀的陪伴，未来在我们眼前就是一张微笑的脸。

我辈强大则交大强！我辈威武则中华壮！时隔12年，再捧“优胜杯”；辩论队重回高校辩论之巅。中国西部科技创新港、新丝绸之路大学联盟以及建设世界一流大学誓师动员大会，我看到母校正挺起民族的脊梁，以博大的胸怀携手世界。“风云两甲子，弦歌三世纪”，交通大学第三个甲子辉煌已拉开序幕，而今天在坐的我们就是母校第三个甲子的开拓者。不论走到哪里，我们都会铭记母校的教诲，谦虚其心，远大其志，踏实其行。宇土茫茫，山高水长，为时代之光，为世界之光！

最后还有一句话我一定要大声说出来，请允许我代表全体本科毕业生，向悉心教导我们的各位老师、为我们成长成材默默付出的各位教职员工和深爱着我们的父母致以崇高的敬意和衷心的感谢！

在西安交通大学2016年本科生毕业典礼上的发言

留学生代表 杨丽颖

To the Xi’an Jiaotong University Chairman of the University Board, the President, distinguished guests, esteemed teachers, parents, and fellow graduates, good morning.

My name is 杨丽颖 and I come from Malaysia.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to stand here today and give this speech as the representative speaker of the international student’s graduating class. Thank you to the teachers who have passed on their knowledge to me to be a better doctor. Thank you to my instructor, Zhao Ting Laoshi for her guidance every step of the way. Thank you to my friends and fellow graduates for the memories we have created together in Xi’an Jiaotong University. Thank you, especially, to my parents and loved ones for their never-ending support. Without all of you, none of this would be possible.

I’ve heard that mankind’s biggest advantage is our ability to adapt, to grow. I believe that more today than ever. In the beginning, many of us struggled with the most basic things. Simple tasks like learning to cook, clean, be organized, socialize and even study were difficult. But day by day, we kept trying. And day by day, we adapted.

One of the best things about Xi’an Jiaotong University is how diverse this place is. Looking across the room, I can see that we are made up of people from all corners of the world. Although we may have shared the same classes, the same teachers, and even shared the same rooms, we are all unique individuals coming from different upbringings. And despite our differences, we made Xi’an our home. This city, the food, the culture, and the language that were once strange and foreign to us have become part of who we are. The strangers we met 5 years ago are now our family and friends. And now, on this special day, with the memories and friendships we have created together, we are graduating.

To graduate today, we have not only gained knowledge for our careers, but also knowledge in life, and knowledge in who we are as individuals. The person you are today is different than who you were 5 years ago. To get to this point, you had to work hard, not just for exams, but on yourself. So today, that is all worth it. You are a better you.

For me, the road has not always been smooth-sailing. Prior to coming here, I spent a lot of time self-reflecting, and I realized that I was my own worst enemy. When opportunities came, I let fear overtake my mind and did not give myself the courage to try.

So when my parents sent me and my brother to Xi’an, I made a decision to change my mindset. Instead of doubting my own abilities, I decided to start believing in myself. Instead of fearing to fail, I decided to not be afraid of trying. Instead of letting my dreams stay as dreams, I decided to make them a reality.

There’s a quote that says “you should grab every opportunity that comes knocking on your door”. But what I have learned, is not to wait for opportunity to come knocking on your door, but to go knock on opportunity’s door instead. So, during my 5 years in Xi’an Jiaotong University, I can say that I grabbed every opportunity that was given and I continued to challenge myself to aim higher and to dream bigger.

I truly believe that anyone, if they are willing to make a change within themselves, can achieve whatever they want. The only person who can give you what you want in life is you. The only person who can make you the person you want to be is you. So where you will go after today depends entirely on you.

Remember this day, and remember to give your best in the future. Don’t forget that many things will come and go, but time just goes and does not come back. So embrace what you have today and know that you have the potential to be anything you want to be. Be proud of what you have achieved and be bold enough to make your dreams a reality. Our future has just begun, and I am excited for the changes that will come our way.

So thank you once again, and congratulations to the graduating class of 2016! We did it! 谢谢大家!

家长代表 李松营

尊敬的各位领导、老师、家长，亲爱的同学们：

上午好！

我是机械学院文治书院2012级车辆专业本科毕业生李德翔的父亲，非常荣幸参加贵校今年的毕业盛典，与大家一起见证这一光荣的时刻，分享由衷的喜悦。在此，请允许我代表学生家长，向所有学业有成的莘莘学子表达最热烈的祝贺！向辛勤育人的各位老师致以最衷心的感谢！向造就优秀人才的西安交通大学献上最崇高的敬意！

西安交通大学历史悠久、名师荟萃、人才辈出、声名远扬，学术氛围浓厚，校园环境优雅，是令人神往的学术殿堂。四年前，我全力支持儿子报考贵校。进入校门，厚重的校训精神、浓浓的学习氛围，塑造了儿子志存高远、追求卓越的性格，他自觉珍惜时间，充实生活，不仅学业优秀、屡屡获奖，而且学会了做人、做事，也学会了担当，在学生会积极为同学们服务，还曾帮助我修改论文、翻译摘要等。我对儿子在365滚球盘的进步成长非常满意，所以又坚定地支持他保研本校继续深造。

同学们，四年辛勤努力，如今收获满满。是365滚球盘铸就了你们的灵魂，是365滚球盘练就了你们的本领，是365滚球盘成就了你们的梦想。大学生活即将过去，新的征程整装待发。在这光荣与梦想交织的时刻，在这人生里程关键的驿站，我谨代表全体学生家长再向同学们嘱咐两点：

第一，秉持交大精神，再创美好未来。希望参加工作的同学，积极工作，敢于拼搏，勇于实践，将大学之所学转化为生产力，报效祖国，服务社会，回报母校，尽快成为行家能手，早日成为栋梁之材。希望读研深造的同学，再接再厉，攀爬更高的阶梯，掌握更多的知识，蓄积更多的能量，期待你们有更大的收获。

第二，勿忘母校，勿忘老师，勿忘同学。在今后的人生历程中，无论荣辱悲喜，都勿忘母校，感恩母校，以母校为动力，以母校为纽带，支持母校发展，常回母校看看；也勿忘老师，常念老师之博学，感恩老师之教诲，励志人生，成就梦想；也勿忘同学，珍惜四年之友谊，聚是一团火，散是满天星，无论工作在天南地北，生活在国内海外，都要相互联系，互相鼓励，共同进步，共筑辉煌。

同时，我谨代表全体学生家长祝福西安交通大学：乘国家经济转型升级、中西部教育振兴发展、铸就伟大中国梦之天时，借汉唐盛世之古都、丝绸之路起点之地利，用名流荟萃、国家重点支持之人和，趁势而上，加快发展，早日迈入世界一流大学之列。

最后，我代表学生家长再次祝贺学子顺利毕业！再次感谢老师辛勤培养！再次祝福西安交通大学前程似锦，人才辈出！
